Silver City News Desk – The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has implemented a major traffic diversion plan around Faizabad due to the current law and order situation. Residents are strongly advised to use alternative routes to minimize travel disruptions.

From Rawal Dam Chowk
Traffic approaching Faizabad from both directions will be redirected:
- For Rawalpindi-bound travelers from Bara Kahu, Murree, and Islamabad: Follow Rawal Dam Chowk → Park Road → Captain Naeem Tufail Shaheed Chowk (Tramri Chowk) → Lehtrar Road → Khanna → Expressway
- For Airport-bound travelers: Use Kashmir Chowk → Srinagar Highway
From Garden Flyover
I-8 residents should take: Zero Point → Srinagar Highway → Club Road → Rawal Dam Chowk → Park Road
From Khanna Pul
Motorists traveling from Koral toward Islamabad via Expressway should use: Khanna Pul → Lehtrar Road → Captain Naeem Tufail Shaheed Chowk (Tramri Chowk) → Park Road → Rawal Dam Chowk
From 9th Avenue and IJP Road
- Via IJP Road: Take Gohar Shaheed Chowk (Gandum Godam Chowk) → Faqir Aipee Road → Srinagar Highway
- Via CDA Double Road: Use I-10 Service Road → 9th Avenue → Srinagar Highway
- Alternative from IJP Road: 9th Avenue → Srinagar Highway
From Zero Point to Expressway
Use: Srinagar Highway → Rawal Dam Chowk → Park Road → Lehtrar Road → Khanna Pull → Expressway
From Zero Point to Faizabad (via Faisal Avenue)
Travelers heading to Rawalpindi should instead use: Zero Point → Srinagar Highway → 9th Avenue
Important Advisory for Sector Residents
Residents of F-8, F-9, F-10, F-11, G-10, G-11 and surrounding areas traveling to or from Rawalpindi should use Srinagar Highway via Golra Mor for the most convenient route.
